I have been in the mortgage business since 1981 working in all facets of the mortgage industry. Currently, I am a Mortgage Underwriter with Directions Equity. I began underwriting in 1984 while performing other functions. In 1991, I decided to concentrate solely on underwriting, and have been doing it ever since. Besides my experience in the mortgage industry, I also have a Bachelors degree in Psychology from UTSA and a Masters degree in Sociology from Our Lady of the Lake University. Although I did not start out choosing this career path, I continue to enjoy the ever-changing, fast-paced, and challenging world of mortgages.
